The field on Form becomes business recommended when I change the related field, but if I remove the value in the related field the other field does not revert back to not required. I need it to change back to not required. I hope you can help and look forward to your answer!

I have tried it, and it works fine - hovever I', showing the related entity in an Iframe on a TAB and have hidden the link to the related entity in the NAV pane.

I've then struggled alot to try to alter your code to make it work - not when you click the related entity in NAV pane, but when you click the TAB - but after several days still no luck ;-(...

Do you have any idea af how to make the script work, when the related entity is presented on a Tab and not in NAV pane??

Well, I wasn't sure how to export and import "System Customizer" role so I tried the following and it worked for me

In the begining, I had OLEDBTimeout set to 86400 and it worked for few days and back to same error again

Later, I shrinked temdb database, restart both SQL and CRM server and worked couple of times during entity creation and back to the same error again

And now I renamed "System Customizer" role, copy "System Administrator" role to "System Customizer" and it worked, for couple of entity creation attempts in few mins. However I am not sure if this solution will be long lasting though. Will keep posted if any progress.

Thanks for your comments Mardukes.. I depends on the situation at times... In most cases as per my experience user needs rights to create associated record from one entity and not from other entity then pretty much we end up with no other option apart from using above JavaScript...

Very useful. I would point out that these buttons hide automatically if the user has no create (new) or append (add existing) privileges on the associated entity. So, if the records are truly created by a workflow, one could accomplish much more via privileges. I believe workflows execute under the context of the workflow owner when triggered by an event. The owner is likely an administrator who has full privileges.

I was experiencing similar issue, can't remember what was the trace of the error, but I got it fixed by restarting SQLServer and IIS. Idea bhind is if SQLServer is taking lot of resource and database is too big then restaring SQl make it bit lighter..
